BreastScreen NSW service

BreastScreen NSW provides free breast screening mammograms (breast x-rays) to women in NSW. Our aim is to improve the survival rate of women with breast cancer by detecting breast cancer early.

We invite women aged 50–74 to have a free breast screen every 2 years. Women aged 40–49 and over 74 are also welcome to attend.  

Free breast screening is available in over 250 locations across NSW. This includes 50 screening clinics and 15 mobile vans visiting over 200 locations.
