Terrie anti-smoking campaign
The Terrie campain is a hard hitting anti-smoking testimonial, licensed from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the USA. It features a 52 year old former smoker diagnosed with oral and throat cancer, who has had her larynx removed. The viewer is taken through Terrie's morning routine: inserting a set of false teeth, putting on a wig, fitting an artificial voice box inside a hole in her neck and tying a scarf to hide her tracheotomy.
